Thermographic Printing
A heat raised printing process, normally simply known as Thermo, was introduced years ago as a alternative to Die Stamping.
After printing, a varnish powder is dusted on to the wet ink and then baked through a heat tunnel which raises the print from the card or paper.
The process is a wee bit retro but leaves an unforgettable finish. Perfect for business cards, invitations and corporate stationery, that make an impression!
Wishaw Printing Company is one of the few remaining printers in the UK still producing thermographic print.
